Goal setting

Information overload

Health and wellness is hot right now.  If you’ve done any research online, you’ve seen all of the blog posts, articles, and advertisements for different clothes, supplements, foods, diets, and exercise equipment to help you reach your wellness goals.  Case in point, you’re being hit with a lot of information on a daily basis.  Some of it’s valid, some needs more explanation, and some is flat out wrong.

And while there isn’t a lack of information out there, there is a lack of practicality.  How often do you see an advertisement for a weight loss plan that takes longer than three months?  That focuses on feeling good versus the number on the scale?  Not very often, right?  That’s because slow and sustainable programs aren’t sexy.  There’s no excitement in taking baby steps to reach your goals.  But there are results.  And that’s what matters, right?  Feeling better, looking good, and appreciating your body.

I teach my clients how to implement simple behaviors into their daily routine that don’t feel like a chore.   Because people will do what feels easy.  And as long as you’re making the right changes to your lifestyle (no matter how small they may be) you’ll see progress.  If you want to learn more about how I’ll work with you on your wellness goals, send me a note at sipleywellness@gmail.com.
